MFA for console users

Account administrators can enable the Require multi factor authentication on the console option. If enabled, any users authenticating with a username/password combination must have a second factor to be able to access the console.

The second factor currently is limited to email only where users verify with a verification_code.

Enable 2FA feature on console

To enable the MFA second factor requirement:

  1. Go to Settings  Security  Console login.

  2. Enable the Require multi factor authentication on the console option.

  3. Don’t forget to Save your input.

Enable second factor as console user

  1. Go to your profile icon in the top right corner.

    1. Click My Account.

  2. Go to Security & Password.

    1. Scroll to the Multi-factor authentication section.

    2. Click Enable email 2FA.

When successful, the screens displays a success message such as "Email registered as 2FA".
