Instagram Connect

Instagram Connect has not been supported by Facebook since the 31 March, 2020.

Facebook now rejects applications that use Instagram for authentication. You must use Facebook Login instead to authenticate users. Facebook does not approve applications that use the Instagram Basic Display API for authentication.

What do I need to do?

For existing users to continue to access your application, you should notify or ask users that are using Instagram for authentication to authenticate using a different approach.

This could be Meta Connect (Facebook Login) or using a traditional username and password.
