Passkeys usage examples

This page provides a few basic usage examples for passkeys. The examples are shown for Android and iOS usage.

Creating a passkey

Create a basic passkey.

  1. Launch the app.

  2. Go to the authentication page.

  3. Create an account.

  4. Log in with the newly-created account.

To test:

  1. Log out.

  2. Log back in with the suggested passkey.

Multiple passkeys

Suggest multiple passkeys.

  1. Launch the app.

  2. Go to the authentication page.

  3. Create another account.

  4. Log in with the newly-created account.

To test:

  1. Log out.

  2. Showcase passkeys suggestions with the Google modal.

  3. Select one passkey account and log in.

Enrolling a passkey from different device

Enrol with a passkey from an entirely separate device.

  1. Launch the app.

  2. Go to the authentication page.

  3. Create another account.

    Instead of creating the passkey locally, choose Passkey creation from another device with QR Code.

To test:

  1. Scan the QR code with the separate device.

  2. Log in with the QR code flow from the separate device.
